<div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="e23c2880-9019-4a1e-a8c1-8ca3251932d4"><p>Following a competitive tender process conducted by Liverpool City Council, BlueFit has been awarded the management of Holsworthy Swim Centre (previously known as Holsworthy Aquatic Centre). </p><p>As a result, the current operator will conclude the management of the centre close of business Friday 25th September. There will be a brief closure, during which time BlueFit will conduct essential improvement works to the pool and facility. Once works are completed, BlueFit will reopen the centre on Monday 19th October.  </p><p>BlueFit and the Liverpool City Council, are committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless transition through this period. Unfortunately, BlueFit has been unable to secure the transfer of customer enrolments or data through this period. Swim School Developments has operated the Holsworthy Aquatic Centre for a number of years and with the existing contract expiring, an open tender process was conducted. <br /></p><p><strong>Who is BlueFit?</strong></p><p>BlueFit is a leisure facility management specialist, which operates approximately 70 facilities across Australia. BlueFit promotes a family culture and commitment towards its motto of ‘Inspiring Community Activity’. Website: <a href="http://www.bluefit.com.au"><u>www.bluefit.com.au</u></a></p><p><strong>What happens to the current staff?</strong></p><p>BlueFit anticipates almost total retention of the existing staff, so we hope you will be seeing the same faces plus some new ones at the facility upon transition. </p><p><strong>What happens to programs and services between now and September 25th: </strong></p><p>It will be ‘business as usual’ for programs and services, which will continue to be operated by the Swim School Developments (Holsworthy Aquatic Centre) until close of business on the 25th of September 2026. Please note there will be a closure on 26th September 2026 to allow for a transition between operators and essential works to take place in the facility. </p><p><strong> What happens to my previous account balance?</strong></p><p>Any credits and outstandings owed will be settled with you directly by the existing operator before the transition. Make-up lessons will need to be used before the transition.</p><p><strong>Will fees and charges increase?</strong></p><p>Fees and charges increase on an annual basis by CPI and are controlled by the council. <br /></p><p><strong>Will my enrolment automatically roll over?</strong></p><p>Unfortunately, BlueFit has been unable to negotiate for the transition of customer bookings. This means existing students will need to re-enrol with BlueFit Swimming before the facility reopens.  </p><p><strong>What about existing school &amp; user-groups?</strong></p><p>Unfortunately the current operator has not provided details relating to existing user groups or school bookings.
